Pixel Pathway

Pixel Pathway is an in-person training initiative for anyone curious about a job in post production and VFX. You don't need any experience, just a willingness to learn and a passion to find a role to which your strengths are best suited in this exciting and fullfilling industry

To take part in Pixel Pathway 2026, you must be available as follows:

15th May

In person open day at our studio in Farringdon.

8th June - 17th July

Pixel Pathway training course period. 3 days a week in studio on a Monday & Tuesday. The 3rd day will be used for pre-arranged trips that we will advise you of in advance and Runner work experience either in our studio or at a partner – details to follow. We will cover zones 1-6 travel and lunch. Our studio is in Farringdon.

20th – 24th July

Paid work experience week. You must be available to work Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm. You will be paid London Living Wage in the work experience week.

Our Tutors

Paul Harrison

Paul is one of the world’s top colourists, known for his work in commercials for Sky, Mercedes and Stella Artois and numerous feature films and TV shows. He collaborates closely with acclaimed directors and cinematographers like MJ Delaney, Shane Meadows, Guy Ritchie, and Ed Rutherford.

Cara Kotschy

Cara is the Managing Director of Residence Pictures and brings a deep knowledge of the UK post market, industry and processes. Her goal is to discover, train and nurture new talent, to win awards and innovate to ultimately support and enable the creation of amazing original content.

Alfie Vaughan

Alfie is a VFX lead at Coffee & TV, demonstrating his skills in the creation of visual feasts including The Chemical Brothers’ ‘Free Yourself’, Lego ‘Dreamzzz’ and Coors ‘Fresh Climb’. He’s also a YouTuber and shares his knowledge and passion for VFX over on his channel to his 43,000 strong YouTube VFX community.

Ed Kevill-Davies

Ed Kevill-Davies is a Creative Director of Motion Design at Coffee & TV, where he leads the vision, creation, and delivery of numerous high-profile projects across the studio. With an exceptionally keen eye for graphic design, Ed’s signature style often takes inspiration from varying forms of typography and its application. His impressive portfolio includes the RTS Award-nominated titles for Shane Meadows’ The Gallows Pole, the striking visual identity and title sequence for the BBC’s coverage of The Hundred cricket fixtures, and the Bond-inspired title sequence for the 007: Road To A Million series. Ed’s creative leadership has made a significant impact, consistently pushing the boundaries of motion design, including leading the way with extensive experimentation of new tools.

David O’Callaghan

David O’Callaghan is an award‑winning Executive Producer who is passionate about creating clear, accessible pathways into post production and supporting new voices as they enter the industry. Alongside his work on Shane Meadows’ limited series The Gallows Pole and Aimee Lou Wood’s six‑part BBC series Film Club, he brings a calm, practical and generous approach shaped by years of hands‑on experience in post. In 2025, Dave won the Broadcast Tech Innovation Award for Post Producer of the Year, recognising his leadership, care for craft and commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
